My "Last Supper"

As cliche as the "Last Supper" has become in modern society, I feel like I deserve a chance to add to it's downfall.

Today was my first day studying Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at the Grapplers Guide Academy.  With my newfound passion for mixed martial arts, this became my first step in a long process to physical and mental enlightenment.  Signing up was step one, but step two requires me to make sacrifices in my diet.

Tonight was my last "junk" meal; penne alla vodka, pumpkin seed bread, garlic infused string beans, and of course soda.  As per my request, we decided to add a little extra whipped cream to the vodka sauce in order to give it a thicker look and richer taste.  This may have doubled my total calorie count for the day, but it made it worth the risk.

Tomorrow I start my diet, complete with eggs whites and V8... I can't wait.

What I'm Craving

I'm sitting in class right now, and all I can think about is food.  I want a cheeseburger more than anything.  About 2 years ago, I possibly discovered the best burger website ever created... http://www.cheeseandburger.com/. This website specifically deals with cheeseburgers made with Wisconsin-made, Grade-A cheese.  When exploring The Cheese and Burger Society, one can view the delicious burger creations, and learn how to prepare them.  After spending all of 10 minutes viewing the assorted "Gods of the Grille" I've decided that I need an "Uncle Sam".

Following is possibly the best way to describe the burger: "The Uncle Sam is looking to recruit a few good eaters. This All-American cheeseburger will have your taste buds singing “The Star-Spangled Banner” after just one bite. Yes, it’s finally time for hot dogs and apple pie to quietly step aside as America’s signature foods. Because The Uncle Sam is ready to serve this country from sea to shining sea."

Seriously, when I get out of class, I'm going straight to the nearest restaurant and requesting that they make this burger as described.
